I just decided to only do one of the passages for today since it was late when I awoke this morning and it takes awhile with my older Bible anyway.
Here is what I did, I hope it is okay and you don’t think I am lazy for not doing the all the scripture today.
Matthew 20: 1-16
I used the same Bible as yesterday since it is a better study Bible than my other ones. This passage had only one section entitled “Parable of the Labourers” and was cross-referenced to the same passage in Mark. I like the symbolism in this story of how Jesus and God treats everyone equal regardless of their work effort or skills. Since as I heard Mark Hall of Casting Crowns say that God doesn’t need you, but He wants you for what you can do for Him alone regardless of your skills or abilities.
